Join us in the 2016 Pooch Parade dog walk presented by The Pooch Patrol to help raise money for the Western PA Humane Society. The walk takes place on the Front Lawn of Nicholson at Robert Morris University.
Event Details
The Pooch Patrol was formed by the Communication Seminar class at Robert Morris University, with the objective of raising money for a non-profit organization. WPHS has been serving this region since 1874. The Western PA Humane Society operates as an open door shelter, which means that they do not turn away any animal that comes through the door, accepting over 10,000 animals each year. They also offer outreach education programs for all ages that teach compassion towards animals.
This event will include food trucks, vendors, photographs with the bronze Bob statue, and a dog costume contest. Anyone who brings a donated item (dog, cat or rabbit food, treats, toys, or care item) will be given two entry tickets into a special raffle drawing!
$10 Early Registration $15 At The Door – Registration begins at 11am, walk starts at 12 pm (walk route is approximately one mile.
