Accomplished saxophonist and vocalist Chelsea Baratz has assembled an all-star lineup of some of Pittsburgh’s most innovative and recognizable musical voices for what will be an extraordinary Thanksgiving weekend jam on Saturday, November 26th at the legendary James Street Gastropub and Speakeasy. Poogie Bell, Tony DePaolis, Brett Williams, and special guest Grammy award-winning trumpeter Maurice Brown will join Chelsea to bring to life classic jazz standards and new compositions from all of their forthcoming albums, fusing funk, neo-soul, hip hop & more. Bring in the season with a fresh and funky night of live music with this all-star lineup in the Ballroom at James Street.

About the Artists:
Chelsea Baratz - one of the brightest and most versatile voices on New York’s contemporary jazz scene, Chelsea Baratz is a native daughter of Pittsburgh and a recent inductee of the Upper St Clair High School Hall of Fame for excellence in the arts. Chelsea has found her own soulful voice while remaining an in-demand player - having performed & recorded with the likes of legends such as Aretha Franklin and contemporary heavy-hitters like Maurice "Mobetta" Brown, Nicholas Payton, Brandee Younger, Orrin Evans & the Revive Big Band. Her next release, a sizzlingly original & soulful blend of Jazz, R&B & hiphop & which remains untitled, will feature the diverse fruits of her collaborative association with Mobetta, as well as a starring role for her unheralded vocals.
Poogie Bell - a stalwart force on Pittsburgh’s music scene, Poogie has been keeping the pocket for Pittsburgh Jazz Greats while accumulating a world-class resume touring with the likes of artists such as Chaka Khan, Roberta Flack, Erykah Badu, David Bowie, Marcus Miller, and Victor Bailey. Poogie is notable for his dexterity across genres, demonstrated on his forthcoming 2017 release, The PGH Experience, featuring
