Join us on the weekend of December 14-16 for a one hour round trip to the "North Pole" with Santa Claus and all of his friends! All aboard for this fun family tradition!

All Santa Express rides are round-trip and are 1 hour in length, and will be traveling just past the fish hatchery along Axemann Rd in Pleasant Gap.
All trains board at and depart from the Train Station in Bellefonte, located at 320 W. High Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823. Please refer to the map on our Contact Us page.
All passenger cars have a small RV-style restroom aboard
Children 2 years old and under ride for free if they will be sitting on someone's lap. Lap tickets may be obtained at the station or from one of our volunteers on the day of the ride.
Boarding begins approximately 20 minutes prior to departure. Please plan to arrive early to allow time to find parking and walk to the platform. Trains leave on time!
Dry food and snacks, and non-sticky beverages are allowed on the train. Alcoholic beverages are strictly forbidden!
Refunds are available up to 7 days before the weekend of the rides. After that, refunds will only be issued in the unlikely event that a ride is cancelled.
CABOOSE RENTALS - PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING: The caboose is available to rent for one group per trip for $300. The caboose seats 12-16 adults, or an equivalent combination of adults and small children. Approximately 4 of those seats are in the cupola and can only be accessed via ladder, so are better suited to kids and younger adults. The rest is bench seating. Santa Claus and friends will NOT be visiting passengers riding in the caboose! However, Santa will be available for pictures, at the station, following the rides. It is unsafe for Santa and friends to cross over to the caboose while the train is in motion. We will be serving cookies and hot chocolate, but you are welcome to bring food and drink of your own. There is a restroom aboard the caboose, but it is even smaller than the ones found in the rest of the cars - we highly recommend using the restroom before boarding.
