On Sunday, April 27, at East Liberty Presbyterian Church, The Funeral Consumers Alliance of Western Pennsylvania(FCAWP), will host its second End-of-Life Expo. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided by the FCAWP Board. Please come, and bring a friend! At 2:30, the End-of-Life Expo exhibits will open. The tabletop exhibits will include exhibits from caskets to cremation, hospice, elder law, veterans benefits, organ or whole body donation, coping with grief, cemeteries, and even “green burial.”
Exhibitors already confirmed include Penn Forest Natural Burial Park, two makers of environment-friendly grave markers, Care Caskets which makes biodegradable wood coffins, the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, the web site ImSorrytoHear.com, and FCAWP.
