Each pen turned on the lathe is a custom product, unique in its lines, materials, and distinctive patterns. Gift recipients never forget who made it for them. This class will teach even complete beginners with no previous turning experience how to craft these beautiful and useful projects, and participants will leave with a completed pen that they have turned and assembled themselves. Class size is limited to three, so advanced registration is required. Project materials are provided as part of the class fee and the student will have various wood options to choose from.
Safety Measures We’re Taking to Keep You Safe
Social Distancing - All of our classes have a low capacity of attendees and will allow for social distancing.
Sanitization - Our classrooms, seating areas, and tools are cleaned and disinfected before and after every class. We also have hand sanitizer and disinfectant available to be used during all classes.
Masks - Masks are only required to be worn if required by local ordinances. If you prefer to wear a mask, you can bring your own. If you forget to bring a mask we can provide one free of charge.
Gloves - Gloves will be provided free of charge if any classes require tools to be shared by multiple attendees during the same class. This is not a common occurrence and most of the time, attendees are provided their own tools to use.
