Join us for a night of Halloween Crafting! ft. Paper (Mache) & Nature Based Materials! Need some dedicated time and space to get your costume ready for all those halloween parties? Or some good company to make decorations that scream HALLOWEEN IS HERE!? Then we're here for you! Bring your ideas or find inspiration from the event's Pinterest Board: https://pin.it/45oYF1k Cardboard, newspaper, grasses, twigs, leaves and other biodegradable materials will be available for your costuming & decorative crafting needs! If you'd like to incorporate non-paper/nature based materials into your crafting, please bring them.
This event is free. If you are able, please donate ($10|| $20|| $50). This will help us continue to offer free events and workshops.
Childcare available! Please request at hello@prototypepgh.org at least 48 hours before the event.
INSTRUCTOR BIO: Vanessa's favorite holiday, after her birthday, is definitely Halloween! And she loves crafting her own creations from horns to masks and the personas that go with them :) Playing with paper and nature based materials only makes the deal sweeter so that at the end of all the (years of) fun she doesn't have to think about how to dispose of plastic objects, she can just lay her creations to Rest In Peace & Gratitude in the compost pile
